Giant Red Hermit with Cloak Anemone -Petrochirus diogenes and Calliactus tricolor
ID: Brightly colored hermit crab with a purposely placed anemone on it's shell.
Tips: These crabs thrive in the sand sifting for food. Rarely a juvenile will hike in on live rock. Recommended for large tanks with a deep and healthy sand bed. Multiple shells should be available. Don't worry about it leaving the anemone when it out grows its shell, the hermit will carefully remove the anemone and take it with him. Very Cool!
