It all starts with a great product, TBS Live Rock.  We go to great lengths to provide you with the freshest products by harvesting specifically for YOU.  Alive from ocean floor to your door. 

PAYMENT & PROCESS

Head to the shopping cart. Secure your ROCK by selecting an arrival date from the cart calendar and finalize the order using PayPal, ShopPay or Venmo.  Placing an order adds your specific products to the harvest schedule.

DELIVERY METHODS

  1. Air Cargo - Rock'n the Skies to an airport near you. You pick up the order at the airport. Air cargo shipping is paid later. Email us for a quote, it is cheaper and easier than you imagined.
  2. UPS Treasure Chests...Rock'n Brown Trucks to your door. The order arrives to your door. UPS orders travel next day flat rate, pricing will be calculated in the cart.
  3. Local Pickups - Rock'n Tampa. We meet locals at the TBS warehouse. The warehouse is not open for retail sales nor tours. Your order will be delivered to your vehicle. Saturdays works best for our schedule.

For safety, we require confirmation of arrival details prior to shipping LIVE products. It is very important to monitor your emails and reply. No confirmation means no shipping. 48-hour pre-flight is the cutoff.

Weather conditions on harvest days and/or shipping days may cause a delay. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility.

Tracking information is sent AFTER boxes have been checked in at Tampa International Airport or Treasure Chests handed to UPS.  It is your responsibility to pick up boxes from the airport and to be home for UPS delivery.

WooHoo, it is the BIG day!  Are you ready to get your hands wet?  Have you perused the Instruction guide located on the website?  Put on some gloves and crack open the box.  Ocean grown TBS products are waiting!

The same care we put into harvesting goes into packing.

It all starts with proper packing and packaging.

Live Rock is always shipped submerged. We source quality insulated shipping boxes and heavy-duty buckets, use custom manufactured leak resistant bags, top off with pure oxygen and a popping good surprise too. Cold or heat packs are used as needed.

That’s not all there is to thoughtful handling, in many cases, your order is packaged the SAME day you receive it! Yepper, sharks nor the wee hours will deter us from doing our best to provide customers with fresh live rock

UPS for small amounts...Rock'n Brown Trucks.

  • UPS Treasure Chests hold small amounts that ship Next Day Air Saver to your door.  
  • Flat rate shipping cost is $75 or $58 depending on box size.  Florida flat rate is $25.
  • No signature is required. During extreme weather, consider shipping to a UPS store.
  • Tracking link will be emailed. Please be advised that an incorrect weight will appear on each label.
  • For larger amounts, we highly recommend shipping via air cargo.

Air Cargo is how we roll… Rock’n the Skies!

  • Air Cargo is the fastest, safest and least expensive way to move fresh harvested Live Rock. 
  • We fly product to airports across the lower 48 states. No shipping to Hawaii, Canada or other countries.
  • Scroll down this page to sea airports that we currently ship to.
  • It is your responsibility to pick up the order from the airport air cargo office.
  • Air Cargo shipping is paid later based on carrier and location. Southwest customers pay at pick up. Delta customers will be invoiced in advance.
  • Rates average $1.25 to $1.50 per pound of shippable weight (product & natural saltwater).   $80 is the minimum rate. 
  • We are happy to provide a quote before ordering.
  • After choosing a date and placing an order, we harvest specifically for you.
  • Before shipping, we send an email to confirm arrival details. You must reply 48 hours before the flight, confirming you will pick up on the agreed date and location. No confirmation means no shipping.
  • A flight tracking link will be emailed. Track the flight before heading to the airport. You do not need to be there when the plane lands.

  • Live next door?  Snowbird or vacationer headed north?
  • Select local pickup in the cart and choose a date.
  • We will see you outside the TBS warehouse, where your order will be delivered to your vehicle.
  • The warehouse is not a store front. We are not open for retail sales nor facility tours.
  • Local pickup is by appointment only.

We go to great effort to ensure our products are fresh and in good health when shipped.  If your order was excessively delayed during shipment or the box is leaking, let us know, and don’t fret.  Live Rock is just fine 99% of the time.  Take a photo of the rock inside the shipping box.  Place the live rock into the aquarium and take another photo.  In the very rare event of a DOA, our policy is to issue store credit, this does not include UPS or Air Cargo shipping costs.  We do not issue refunds for DOA.  We do not reimburse cargo or UPS fees under any circumstances.  You must notify us via email containing photos of DOA within 4 hours of delivery.
If you place an order and cancel it within 2 weeks, we will refund the total less Shopify / PayPal service fees. If you place an order and cancel it after 2 weeks, we will issue store credit for 1 year. By placing an order, you agree to this term.
We require confirmation of air cargo arrival details 48 hours before delivery. No confirmation, no shipping. This requirement is to protect the lives in each box.
We are not responsible for orders neglected at your doorstep or left at air cargo.  There are no refunds for orders abandoned at cargo hubs. Once the order leaves TPA, it is your responsibility.  Air fare for abandoned orders is your responsibility. 
UPS orders may not be denied at delivery and returned to sender. No refund or store credit is issued for orders denied and returned to TBS.
We are not responsible for errors in acclimation or general care such as water flow, chemistry or temperature. We are not responsible for your actions such as curing TBS rock (that doesn’t need curing) or dipping TBS rock (in chemicals, high salinity, fresh water).  We are not responsible if you have a non-functioning life support system upon arrival of TBS products. We do our best to inform customers the correct usage for ocean sand and rock.  We are not responsible for your purchase decisions or actions after receipt of our products.
Charge backs for the entire shipment including shipping are illegal and will be prosecuted for fraud. DOA credit will depend on pictures of the expired product upon arrival in the box and pictures in your functioning aquarium.  Products must be returned to TBS at your expense.
