Banded Tulip Snail - Fasciolaria hunteria

Banded Tulip Snail - Fasciolaria hunteria

ID:  Beautiful smooth banded shell in a lovely, marbleized pattern of cream, brown and beige. This is a common snail found from Florida to N. Carolina. We see them fairly large sized and easily leave them in the Gulf of Mexico. This would be a rare hiker.

Tips: Sump it, give to LFS or feed it to a predator fish.

Rated:  Reef Not Safe
