Florida Astrea Snails

Astreas are known to feed on cyanobacteria, diatoms, hair algae, green and brown algae. These common snails are sustainably collected in Florida. Reef safe and gentle, they are a crowd pleaser. As Astreas grow in size, their climbing ability decreases, and they will require a hand if tipped over. An acrylic rod is the perfect tool to liberate an incapacitated snail.

Their shells vary from cream, beige, pink, reds and green.

We recommend 1 per 2 gallons.

Local Pickups - Rock'n with Locals in Tampa.

Air cargo orders are ready for airport pickup on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. UPS orders arrive to your door on Tuesdays and Saturday is best for local pick up.

For safety's sake, we require confirmation of arrival details before shipping live products. We will text or email you to confirm the estimated arrival date.

Weather conditions on harvest days and/or shipping days may cause a delay. We appreciate your flexibility.

Tracking information is sent AFTER boxes have been checked in at Tampa International Airport or Treasure Chests handed to UPS. It is your responsibility to pick up boxes from the airport and to be home for UPS delivery.
